As an Operations Analyst you will start in the newly formed Shipwire EMEA team to be the key point of contact for all operational and engineering issues and projects in the region. You will work closely together with existing- and new facilities connected to the platform. Furthermore, you will work with your international counterparts in other regions.
Some travel will be required for regular visits of the European Facilities.
As an Operations Analyst you monitor and report the performance through production KPIs and quality controls of all connected warehouses on a regular basis by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
You evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements regularly
You support implementation projects for implementing new clients, new platform integrations, and new warehouses. You analyze the potential to replace manual processes through automated ones. Make multi-site analyses for discovering systemic improvements for future issue avoidance. Ensure compliant processes, in line with the client requirements and agreed financial compensation.
You support the management with research for Engineering, Operational and Commercial decisions. You liaise between the Commercial and Operational team in tender processes and are a subject matter expert on the capabilities of all facilities and can translate operational issues into engineering tickets. You fill and update databases in the backend based on new/changing requirements, conditions, and improvements.
- You have at least a bachelor in a relevant Field (e.g. International Business/Business Administration/Industrial Engineering/SCM) and have at least 2 years of working experience in the field or e-commerce, logistics or supply chain management.
- You are fluent in English.
- You are hands-on and a natural problem solver.
- You like to create structure and can translate your research to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Ideally, you have experience working with a CMS, ERP, Shopsystem (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Shopware) or a Warehouse Management system. Experience with Jira & Confluence is a plus.
